Had this conversation happened at any other time, it probably wouldn’t have hit as hard. But today—it mattered. With everything I’ve been dealing with over the past few months, I think I needed that moment more than I realized. It was a conversation full of clarity and understanding.

The Pivot

Pivot: In business, to "pivot" means to make a significant change to a company's strategy or direction, often in response to market conditions or feedback. It's a strategic shift, not a minor adjustment, and can involve altering the product, target market, or even the overall business model.

Whether in business or life, pivoting is essential. We often think of change as something that happens to us, sometimes welcomed, sometimes not, but the reality is, how we respond to it defines everything.

In life, the “market” is constantly shifting. Conditions evolve, feedback flows in, and whether we like it or not, we’re all being asked to adjust. The product? You. Your mindset. Your habits. Your direction. And depending on the signals life sends you, sometimes a small tweak is enough, and sometimes a full pivot is required.

In this episode, I’m sharing a big personal milestone.

I’m officially signed up for my first two 5K races!

What started as a way to escape and clear my mind has now become a meaningful part of my lifestyle. I’ll be running my first 5K in Boston with the amazing crew at Last Lap Boston on August 30th, followed by the Brightstar 5K in Downtown Providence on September 14th! I also talk about Jersey Mike’s, going back to School, and everything in between.

There may have been some misconceptions about who I am. I’m excited to share my perspective on a wide range of topics centered around my life, journjey, and career.
